Packed full of flavour, radicchio - also known as Italian chicory - is a bold and punchy green vegetable that has inspired the artwork on this ceramic supper bowl. The bitter green has first been painted in watercolours, then reproduced in glazes using a number of different decorating techniques including brushing and piping. The detailed artwork stands out beautifully against the white background of the glazed ceramic supper bowl, which is made by hand in the same factory using high quality, earthenware clay.
